TAMYKO: When my expectations weren’t quite met, you know, I had to kind of refocus myself and say… Ok, my husband is a veteran now. He’s been through these things. I need to, you know, not argue with him over this. Like I think I told you I was like OCD a lot. And so, I used to want to nag, but I had to hold back those impulses to want to do that because it wasn’t going to be beneficial to him or to me or to our relationship. And he was dealing with bigger things, you know. Those little things that I was worried about, were really non-essential to him because of what he had already seen and been through. It’s important to take yourself out of the picture sometimes. Try to learn about, or at least be empathetic of what they might be going through and experiencing now that they’re in TV land as Bryant said.
