The Warrior’s Journey is a faith based veteran service organization that provides an interactive online and in person community, services, and resources for military members, veterans, and their families. In cooperation with other military partnerships, foundations, and non-profits, TWJ presents a wide range of resources that cover the unique issues they encounter in service and home. Among these partnerships includes the Department of Veteran Affairs. As an approved vendor, the partnership comprises providing both online and print resources to identify and assist in abating some of the issues our military encounter, especially as it relates to suicide.
As a VA Work-Study Employee at TWJ, you will have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the lives of veterans in a variety of ways, leveraging your current academic and professional background.
Here are a few examples of the potential roles you could fill:
- Shipping and Logistics: Manage the efficient distribution of products and resources.
- Digital Content Management: Update and enhance our website using WordPress (training provided).
- Media Support: Assist the media department with various tasks.
- Data Analysis: Organize and analyze data using tools like Excel spreadsheets.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of our inventory.
The work-study position offers flexibility, allowing you to work up to 30 hours per week and potentially continue during college breaks. As a federal work-study employee, you’ll gain valuable experience and enhance your resume, positioning you for future career success.

Work Study Application
Requirements: The requirement for the VA work study is that you are attending school using the GI bill. Either your own or a parent. Or any other military sponsored scholarship.
