“So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.” But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?” (Exodus 3:10-11, NIV)

God had just issued a FRAGO (Frag Order) to Moses. Moses staggered at the thought of being God’s chosen leader for a rescue mission that would take over 600,000 Israelite men, not counting women and children, out of Egypt. He felt totally inadequate for the task and voiced his doubts directly to the Lord.

History proves that Moses accomplished the mission anyway. But Moses didn’t succeed on the merit of his own human leadership abilities. He obeyed God, and the Lord supplied the means, even to include the miraculous crossing of the Red Sea.

Ever feel overwhelmed by a mission God has assigned you to accomplish? Remember that He isn’t limited by our capability. His power and resources are without limit. God spoke our universe into existence. He can do anything.

God desires followers who will submit to His authority and make themselves available for any mission He chooses to assign us. Fear not. Our Heavenly Commander will provide you with the capability.
