Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. (Colossians 3:13)

Studies indicate that finances consistently rank as a leading problem area within marriage. This holds true for all families, from rich to poor. Running the finances for a family is not easy, especially in hard economic times. Frankly, it can get complicated, stressful, and produce huge tensions. But one thing is for certain regarding finances and marriage: everyone makes mistakes. Everyone.
So what’ the answer? It’s called forgiveness. Holding a grudge against a spouse for a bad financial mistake? Are you bitter against a former spouse for leaving you in such bad financial straits? Or perhaps you are still irate at your teenager for wrecking the family car?
Forgive. The Lord commands it. He forgave you.
