Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed. (Proverbs 16:3)
Success is contagious. We draw encouragement from others who have overcome adversity and done great things. Perhaps you’re struggling at present and need to experience a few successes in your life. You can! So let’s get started. First, check with God about your plans. Are your plans in line with His will? As you pray, He will show you. Assuming you have a green light, commit your plans to Him and act on His promise. He says that when you commit your plans to Him, they will succeed.
A few years ago, I met a young man who dreams about becoming a Navy SEAL. I put him in touch with a Navy SEAL as a means of encouraging him. Just this past summer the young man came to see me and told me he was applying to the United States Naval Academy. He still plans to become a SEAL. While I don’t know his future, I predict He will succeed. Why? Because I know this young man has committed his plans to God and is taking action on God’s promise. You can do the same!
