Consider the damage done within the military due to sexual misbehavior since 9/11. Frequent deployments have become the norm. Husbands and wives have faced repeated separations usually spanning several months up to a year.
Unfortunately, caving in to sexual temptation has led to the destruction of many marriages. Sometimes it happens with the military spouse down range. Other times it’s the spouse left at home. Either way, the damage and destruction to marriages and families has been huge. Innocent children have suffered.
Stop and think for a minute. Does this destruction and heartache really have to happen? As a warrior who has successfully endured tough military training and even experienced deployment into combat areas, are you so weak and helpless that you can’t overcome sexual temptation?
God says you can overcome temptation, even sexual temptation. He’ll make a way.
Warrior, you can do this! Believe God. It’s for your benefit.
