Being ready to share the gospel message offers a limitless range of possibilities. There’s a place for well-thought-out evangelism programs, but we can also lead people to Christ by simply living out our faith. You don’t have to force opportunities to share Christ.
“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear” (1 Peter 3:15, NKJV).
He cares about the people in your command, your neighborhood, your friends and family even more than you do, and He’s already at work in their lives.
So just be sensitive to the opportunities He creates, and be ready to do your part when the time is right. Let the light of Jesus shine through you. Your deep and genuine relationship with the living God will get people’s attention!
