Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm.  Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58, NIV).

The life of a soldier is not an easy one. The reason is simple – success against the enemy demands an attitude of fierce courage and determination to achieve excellence.

Spiritual readiness demands no less of those who would be winners:

1.   Stand firm. Read your Bible and meditate on God’s truth.

2.   Let nothing move you. We have an enemy of our soul who waits in ambush to destroy you. Resist the Devil through submitting to God and obeying his truth.

3.   Give yourself fully to the work of the Lord. Follow God in word and deed. Give nothing less than your best.

The Lord has achieved victory, but you must claim it through faith and live it through obedience.
