Have you ever asked another person for forgiveness, but ended up refused? As long as you are sincere and truthful, God won’t do that.
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9, NKJV).
He forgives even the most heinous sins when we come to Him with a contrite heart. The Bible tells us that we have all sinned and carry around the weight of those sins until we do something about it. Wouldn’t you like the burden of all your wrongdoing taken from you?
Go to God and ask Him to forgive you. Isaiah 43:25 guarantees that God will not only forgive you, but He will also blot out the sin and remember it no more. What a cause for rejoicing!
