Love is at the center of all we know and believe about God. As God loved us, we should love one another. For sure, we don’t do this perfectly. We sometimes let small differences turn into big problems. This happens particularly in our marriages and families, but also in the workplace and even in the church.
“He who does not love does not know God, for God is love” (1 John 4:8, NKJV).
Not properly handled, problems eventually become huge obstacles to building healthy relationships. Even though Jesus has done the work to put us in right relationship with God, we often neglect to exhibit love in our relationships with others.
Does your Christian love for others spill out into words and deeds? Take some time this week to demonstrate love toward a family member, a friend, or co-worker.
