Episode 18: Army Sgt 1st Class, Forrest W. Robertson was on his fifth deployment when he was killed in action by enemy forces during combat operations in Logar Province, Afghanistan November 3, 2013, just six days before he was due to return home.
His wife Marcie tells her story of her family’s sacrifice and transition after the loss of her husband on that fateful day. She describes the challenges and victories she has experienced since the death of her husband and recalls how faith has made the difference in her ability to grow and move forward.
