Most of us will never speak with an angel face-to-face, but that doesn’t mean we can’t hear God’s voice speaking to our hearts.
“And now I urge you to take heart, for there will be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship. For there stood by me this night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve, saying, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; you must be brought before Caesar; and indeed God has granted you all those who sail with you.’ Therefore take heart, men, for I believe God that it will be just as it was told me. However, we must run aground on a certain island” (Acts 27:22-26, NKJV).
But how? It starts by seeking the Lord. Even in the midst of a crisis like Paul and the other men were facing. If you’re in a leadership position, it’s even more critical because those under you are looking for you to take charge.
Paul communicated the message from the Lord and everyone survived. As you make it a practice to seek God, you’ll be able to discern His voice from all of the noises and distractions around you. As our heavenly Commander-in-Chief, He won’t leave you without guidance.
