Never Alone

Joseph’s early life was a series of injustices.

His brothers sold him into slavery, his master’s wife falsely accused him and his boss misjudged him and threw him into prison for an act he didn’t commit. Yet, God did not abandon Joseph. Even in the gloomy dungeon, the Lord was with him.

“Then Joseph’s master took him and put him into the prison, a place where the king’s prisoners were confined. And he was there in the prison. But the LORD was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison,” (Genesis 39:20-21, NKJV).

God wants to be with you in every situation

Joseph didn’t know what the future held. He didn’t know he would become the second most powerful man in Egypt. He didn’t know he would reunite with his family. And he didn’t know he would help save the future nation of Israel. But Joseph knew God. Through despair, injustice and prosperity, this man of faith knew with certainty that he was never alone.

God wants to be with you in every situation. No matter what you’re facing, He can give you strength for today and hope for tomorrow.
