Hank Cherry won the 2013 Elite Series Rookie of the Year award. Cherry has competed in four Bassmaster Classics (the Super Bowl of the bass fishing world) and narrowly lost in 2013. He has two wins to his credit, an Open at Smith Lake and the All-Star event in 2013. He competed in his seventh year on the Bassmaster Elite Series in 2019.
