No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come. (Mark 13:32,33)

In military training vernacular, ENDEX is an acronym that means “end of exercise.” Usually, the time for ENDEX is announced before the exercise even begins because the military must stick to a tight schedule. Normally soldiers like to hear that word because intense training halts and people can relax. In God’s Word, there is promise of an “ENDEX” of far greater magnitude — the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Life as we have known it on earth will cease. For those who are ready, it will be a joyous reunion with our Lord, a reunion that will last for eternity. For those who are unprepared, it will be a time of unspeakable disaster.

When will “ENDEX” occur? Jesus himself says that only the Father knows when “ENDEX” will come. But He also tells us we must be ready. Are you prepared to meet the Lord? If not, don’t delay. Don’t gamble with your soul.
